Pop-up Notification Style auf Samsung
Samsung pop-up notifications appear briefly at the top of the screen when a new message or alert arrives. By default, this pop-up can show either a short summary or the full detailed content of the notification, depending on the style you have selected.
If your pop-ups only show a sender name without the message text, the style is set to brief. If they take up more space and show the full content, detailed mode is active. This setting applies globally to how pop-up notifications behave across supported apps, not to individual app notification permissions.
To change it, go to Settings ➔ Notifications, then choose either Brief or Detailed as your pop-up notification style.
Detailed mode is useful when you want to read a message without unlocking your phone. Brief mode is better for privacy in public settings, since it hides the actual content of incoming messages.
If pop-ups do not appear at all, the issue is usually unrelated to this style setting. Check whether pop-up notifications are enabled for the specific app or whether Do Not Disturb is active, since both can suppress pop-ups regardless of the style chosen here.
