Share a Calendar Event auf Samsung
Samsung Calendar offers two ways to pass an event to someone else: a plain text message or a standard ICS calendar file. The ICS format matters because it carries the date, time, location and reminder settings in one file that any major calendar app can read and import automatically.
A plain text share only sends the event details as a message, so the recipient has to create the entry manually. This is fine for a quick heads-up but not for keeping calendars in sync.
To share an event, open Calendar and go to Select the Day of the event. Tap Select an Event to open its details, then tap Share. Choose between Calendar file (ICS) or Text depending on how the recipient should receive it. Finally, pick an app such as Messages, Email or a chat app under Choose an App to share the event.
If the person you are sending to uses a non-Samsung phone or a desktop calendar, the ICS option is the safer choice because it preserves all event data. Use text sharing only when a quick reminder is enough and no import into another calendar is needed.
