Share a Contact via QR Code auf Samsung
Sharing a contact by text message or vcf file depends on both phones supporting the same file format, which fails often between different messaging apps. The Contacts app on Samsung phones includes a built-in QR code generator that avoids this problem entirely, since any camera app can read the code without needing internet access or Bluetooth.
To create the code, open the contact you want to share and use the on-screen QR option:
Tap on Contacts ➔ Choose a Contact ➔ Tap on More ➔ Tap on QR code
The phone generates a QR code containing that contact's saved details, such as name, number, and email. The recipient scans it with their camera app, and their phone offers to save it directly as a new contact entry.
This method only transfers the information currently stored in that contact entry, so outdated numbers or missing fields will carry over as they are. If you need to send several contacts at once, exporting a vcf file through the Contacts app is faster than generating individual QR codes one by one. The QR code itself is generated locally on the device and is not uploaded anywhere.
