Share Wi-Fi Password via QR Code auf Samsung
Reading out a Wi-Fi password letter by letter wastes time, especially when the network uses long random characters. Samsung One UI stores every saved wireless network internally, including the password, and can convert that stored credential into a scannable QR code.
The QR code only works if the device joining the network has a camera app or dedicated scanner that recognizes Wi-Fi QR codes. Most modern smartphones handle this natively through the camera, but older devices or basic feature phones may lack support.
To generate the code, open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Connections ➔ Tap on Wi-Fi ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on QR code. The password shows up as a scannable image tied to the currently connected network, so make sure you are connected to the correct Wi-Fi before opening this screen.
This method works only for networks already saved on the phone. If the network was never connected before, or the password was never stored, for example after a factory reset, the QR code option will not display any credentials.
Sharing this way keeps the actual password hidden from view, which is useful when handing over network access temporarily. Once the guest device is connected, you can revoke access by changing the Wi-Fi password from the router settings.
