Snooze a Notification auf Samsung
Dismissing a notification on a Samsung phone usually removes it for good. The snooze option works differently: it hides the alert and brings it back after a chosen delay, with the same sound and pop-up as the original notification.
To use it, open the notification shade first: Swipe down to open the Notification shade. From there, reveal the hidden actions on a specific alert with Swipe left to access other options.
Tap Tap on Snooze notification to open the delay picker. Then Choose 15 / 30 minutesor 1 / 2 hoursand tap Save to confirm the timer.
Once the time is up, the notification reappears exactly as before, including sound and screen effects. This is useful for messages or reminders you want to deal with later without losing them in the notification history.
Snoozing only affects that single alert. If new notifications from the same app or contact arrive before the timer ends, they show up normally and do not reset the snooze countdown.
If notifications from an app disappear entirely instead of coming back, the app is likely blocked in the notification settings rather than snoozed. That is a separate setting and needs to be checked per app.
