Show or Hide Caller ID on Outgoing Calls auf Samsung
Caller ID visibility on Samsung phones follows the network default unless you override it manually. That default comes from your carrier, not from Samsung, which is why the behavior can differ between two phones on the same One UI version.
Overriding it matters in a few common situations: hiding your number for private calls, or forcing it to show when a network default hides it and clients need to recognize your business line.
To change it, open Phone ➔ Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Supplementary services ➔ Show your caller ID. Three options appear: Network default, Never and Always.
Network default leaves the decision to your carrier and is the safest choice if you are unsure how your provider handles it. Never hides your number on every outgoing call, which some carriers block for emergency or verified business lines. Always forces your number to display, useful if a carrier default hides it without asking.
If the option is grayed out or missing entirely, the setting is controlled server-side by your carrier and cannot be changed on the device. In that case, contact your provider directly to adjust caller ID at the network level.
