Set Up Smart Lock auf Samsung
Smart Lock is part of Android's built-in security options and lets a Samsung phone stay unlocked under conditions you define yourself. Typical triggers are a trusted location such as your home, a paired Bluetooth device such as a smartwatch or car system, or on-body detection while you are physically carrying the phone.
The feature sits inside the lock screen security settings, separate from the regular PIN, pattern, or password. Because it lowers the unlock barrier, Samsung requires you to confirm your current screen lock credential before you can turn any Smart Lock option on.
Where to find Smart Lock
Open Settings ➔ Lock screen ➔ Smart Lock, then enter your current pattern, PIN, or password when prompted. On the next screen, pick the option you want, for example a trusted place or a trusted device, and follow the on-screen instructions to finish the setup.
Smart Lock is not a replacement for a strong screen lock. If the phone leaves the trusted condition, for example when it disconnects from the paired device or you leave the saved location, the regular lock reactivates automatically.
