Using Speed Dial Numbers for Calls auf Samsung
Speed dial numbers on a Samsung phone let you call a saved contact by pressing and holding a digit on the dial pad instead of dialing the full number. The feature only works with a tap-and-hold gesture on the last digit of the speed dial slot, not a regular tap.
To place a call, open Phone and go to the dial pad, then press and hold the assigned speed dial digit. For single-digit slots (2 to 9), hold that one digit. For two-digit slots (10 and above), tap the first digit briefly and only hold down the second digit. Example: for speed dial 14, tap 1 as usual, then press and hold 4.
On a dual-SIM device, holding a speed dial digit can bring up a SIM selection step. Follow Tap on Phone ➔ Tap and hold a Speed dial number ➔ Choose a SIM card (Dual SIM) to pick which line places the call.
If nothing happens when you hold a digit, the slot likely has no contact assigned yet, or you released it too quickly. Assign speed dial numbers in your contacts settings first, then test the gesture on the dial pad again.
