Change Camera Storage Location auf Samsung
Samsung cameras default to the memory card for saving photos and videos whenever an SD card is inserted. This is a fixed default behavior, not something tied to how much free space is left on either storage option.
If you prefer your camera to use internal storage instead, or want to switch back to the SD card, the setting sits inside the camera app itself, not in the general phone settings.
Change the storage location
Open Camera and tap Settings. Select Storage location and choose either Internal storage or SD card.
The change applies immediately to every photo and video taken from that point on.
What happens to older files
Files captured before the change stay exactly where they were saved. Switching the setting does not move, copy, or duplicate existing photos and videos between internal storage and the SD card.
If you want older files on the other storage type, you need to move them manually using a file manager app.
When this setting has no effect
If no SD card is inserted, the SD card option will not appear, and the camera saves everything to internal storage regardless of the setting. Removing the card afterward does not switch new captures automatically to internal storage unless you set it in the camera settings first.
