Turn USB Debugging On or Off auf Samsung
USB debugging puts the Samsung device into a diagnostic state that lets a connected computer send direct commands to the operating system.
The function sits inside Developer options, a hidden menu that Samsung keeps out of the standard settings list. This placement stops most users from switching it on by accident, since an active debugging connection can expose file structures and system logs to whatever machine is plugged in.
Rooting tools, ADB commands, and several sync or backup applications rely on this mode to identify the phone correctly. Without it turned on, the computer either does not recognize the device or only shows it as a basic storage drive.
To change the setting, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Developer options ➔ Enable or disable USB debugging ➔ Tap on OK. If Developer options does not appear in the settings list yet, it needs to be unlocked first through the device information menu before this path becomes visible.
Leave USB debugging off for everyday charging and file transfers. Turning it on permanently is not necessary once the rooting, flashing, or sync task is finished, and disabling it afterward closes off the direct system access again.
