Samsung Internet includes a built-in filter that checks every page you open against a list of known phishing and malware sites. When it finds a match, it shows a warning screen instead of loading the page, letting you choose to leave or continue anyway.
This protection runs quietly in the background and rarely triggers on regular websites. If you still see repeated warnings on pages you trust, or if you prefer the browser to load everything without checks, you can adjust the setting yourself.
Where to find the setting
Open Internet ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Privacy and security ➔ Turn On/Off Warn about malicious sites.
Turning the option on keeps the filter active and shows a warning whenever a site matches the threat list. Turning it off stops the checks entirely, so pages load without interruption, including ones that might actually be unsafe.
Disabling this setting makes sense only if you rely on another security tool, such as a dedicated antivirus app or a network-level filter, that already screens links before they reach your browser. For most everyday browsing, leaving the warning turned on is the safer choice.
