Dark or Light Theme for the Phone App
If the Phone app keeps showing a bright white call screen while the rest of your Xiaomi runs in Dark mode, the dialer has its own theme setting separate from the system. This mismatch usually happens because the app theme was never linked to System default, or it got reset after an update. It affects the call screen, contact list and dial pad, not just the notification bar.
Turn HDR On or Off in Camera

On Xiaomi phones you can add a separate daily threshold so heavy usage gets flagged the same day it happens. You also decide whether MIUI just warns you or cuts mobile data automatically once the limit is hit.
Clear Speaker Sound Cleaner
If your Xiaomi phone's speaker sounds muffled or noticeably quieter than it used to, dust or lint trapped in the speaker grille is usually the reason. MIUI has a built-in tool that plays a short cleaning tone to help shake particles loose before you reach for compressed air or a pin.
Set Up a Proxy Server for Wi-Fi
If your network admin or workplace requires traffic to run through a specific server, a plain Wi-Fi connection on your Xiaomi phone will not route it correctly. If Wi-Fi keeps dropping, mobile data stops working after a SIM swap, or paired Bluetooth devices refuse to reconnect, corrupted network profiles are often the real cause. Switching a connection off and on rarely fixes these deeper configuration conflicts. A full network reset clears every saved Wi-Fi password, paired device, and mobile data setting in one pass.
Remove a Keyboard Language
Too many keyboard languages clutter the language switcher and slow down cycling to the one you actually type in. On Xiaomi phones, unused layouts stay listed under keyboard management until you remove them manually, even if you only tried them once.
Vibration in Silent Mode: Turn On or Off
