Set Pop-up Window Action Timeout auf Xiaomi
Pop-up windows in MIUI, such as confirmation dialogs or short system alerts, are built to close automatically after a set amount of time. This timing is not tied to individual apps. It is controlled by a single accessibility setting that applies system-wide to any temporary pop-up requiring a tap or action.
If the timeout is too short, you may miss the chance to press a button before the window closes on its own. If it is set too long, pop-ups can linger and block parts of the screen longer than necessary, which gets noticeable if you use gestures or tap quickly between apps.
You can change this value directly in the accessibility settings:
Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Additional settings ➔ Tap on Accessibility ➔ Tap on Physical ➔ Tap on Time to take action (Accessibility timeout) ➔ Choose an option
Pick a shorter duration if pop-ups feel like they hang around too long, or a longer one if you keep missing the action window. This setting only affects temporary pop-ups and dialogs, not persistent notifications in the notification shade.
If the problem is a specific app closing its own custom dialog too fast, this system setting will not help, since it only governs standard system-level pop-up behavior.
