Turn On/Off Ad Blocker in Mi Browser auf Xiaomi
Mi Browser on Xiaomi phones includes a built-in ad blocker that filters banners, pop-under ads, and some tracking scripts before a page finishes loading. This is separate from the pop-up blocker, which only stops new windows or tabs from opening automatically.
When the ad blocker is active, pages can take slightly longer to render because the browser scans and strips ad elements first. If a specific website looks broken, shows missing content, or refuses to load properly, disabling the ad blocker for that browsing session often solves it.
To change the setting, open Tap on Mi Browser ➔ Tap on Profile ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Advanced ➔ Enable or disable Ad blocker.
Leave the ad blocker enabled for regular browsing if you want fewer ads and slightly better privacy. Disable it only when a site fails to display correctly or when you need to check whether the blocker is causing a layout issue.
This setting only affects Mi Browser. Third-party browsers installed on the same device need their own ad-blocking configuration and are not controlled through this menu.
