Manage App Permissions with the Permission Manager auf Xiaomi
MIUI groups every sensitive function - camera, microphone, location, contacts and more - under one central list instead of scattering permission toggles across each app's own settings page. This matters because a single app can request several permissions during setup, and those grants rarely get reviewed again unless you check manually.
The permission manager flips the view: instead of opening each app to see what it can do, you pick a function first and immediately see every app holding access to it. This makes it far faster to spot an app that has no real reason to reach your microphone or location.
Where to find it
Go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Privacy protection ➔ Tap on All permissions ➔ Select a permission ➔ Choose an app ➔ Choose Allow or Deny.
Denying a permission here stops that specific app from using the function until you allow it again, without affecting other apps that hold the same permission. If an app stops working correctly after a denial, the missing permission is usually the reason, and re-allowing it through the same path resolves it.
This manager is the right tool when you want a function-first overview. If you only want to adjust one specific app's access, opening that app's own permission page inside its settings can be quicker.
