Allow or Deny Do Not Disturb Access for Apps auf Xiaomi
Do Not Disturb access is a special Android permission that lets an app control the Do Not Disturb state on your device. Apps with this permission can turn Do Not Disturb on or off, or adjust related settings, without asking you every time.
This is common with calling, alarm, or automation apps that want to silence notifications during specific tasks. If notifications go quiet unexpectedly, or Do Not Disturb switches on without you touching the Quick Settings panel, an app with this permission is often responsible.
You manage this permission through MIUI privacy protection settings. Go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Privacy protection ➔ Tap on Special permissions ➔ Tap on Do not disturb access ➔ Choose an app ➔ Enable or disable Allow Do Not Disturb.
From this list you see every app that has requested the permission, and whether it is currently granted. Disabling it for an app removes its ability to change Do Not Disturb automatically, while your manual control over the feature stays unaffected.
If an app relies on this permission for a core function, such as muting calls during meetings, revoking access can break that behavior. In that case, only disable the permission for apps you do not trust or no longer use for that purpose.
