Turn Off Display Animations auf Xiaomi
MIUI adds fade and slide effects to almost every screen change, from opening apps to switching menu tabs. These effects are meant to look smooth, but on devices with less processing power they add visible delay before the interface reacts to a tap.
The setting responsible for this sits inside the accessibility tools, not the display settings, because it was originally built to reduce motion for users sensitive to animated transitions. Enabling it removes the fade and slide effects across the system, which makes menus and app switches feel more immediate.
To turn it on, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Additional settings ➔ Tap on Accessibility ➔ Tap on Vision ➔ Enable or disable Remove animations.
Leave this toggle off if you rely on visual transitions to track what is happening on screen, since some accessibility workflows use the fade-in as a cue that an action succeeded. Disabling animations does not change performance settings elsewhere, so if apps still feel slow after this change, the cause is likely background app management rather than visual effects.
