Turn Best Photo Marks On or Off auf Xiaomi
MIUI scans groups of similar photos in the Gallery app and marks the sharpest or best-exposed shot with a small best photo label. This happens automatically once the feature is enabled, without you having to compare images manually.
The comparison only affects how photos are labeled, not how they are stored. No files get deleted or moved, and the original images stay untouched in your gallery. If you shoot a lot of burst photos or near-duplicate shots, the label helps you spot the strongest one at a glance.
To change the setting, open Gallery and tap the Menu icon. Go to Settings and toggle Select best photo on or off.
Turning it off stops MIUI from analyzing similar shots, which can be useful if you prefer to judge photo quality yourself or if the labels feel like visual clutter. Turning it on again resumes the automatic comparison for new photos, but it will not retroactively re-scan images taken while the feature was disabled.
This setting has no effect on video files or on photos that MIUI does not recognize as similar to another image in your gallery.
