Block Offensive Words in Keyboard Suggestions auf Xiaomi
The Xiaomi keyboard suggests words as you type, and by default this includes swear words or curses once you have typed them a few times. The Block offensive words option is a filter inside the keyboard's text correction settings that removes these terms from the suggestion bar.
This setting only affects word suggestions and autocorrect predictions. It does not stop you from typing offensive words manually, and it does not filter messages you receive from other people.
To find the option, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Additional settings ➔ Tap on Languages & input ➔ Tap on Manage keyboards ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Text correction ➔ Enable or disable Block offensive words.
Enable it if you share your phone with children or want a cleaner suggestion bar in shared or work environments. Disable it if you regularly type in a dialect, slang, or a specific professional context where the filter blocks words you actually need.
If offensive words still appear after enabling the filter, check whether a third-party keyboard app is active instead of the built-in MIUI keyboard, since this setting only applies to the default keyboard.
