Change Call Waiting Notification Sound auf Xiaomi
Call waiting notifications on Xiaomi phones work independently from your regular ringtone. This setting only controls how a second, incoming call is signaled while you are already on a call.
MIUI offers three notification styles: a tone played once, the same tone repeated continuously, or a shorter tone paired with two vibration pulses. Which option suits you depends on how you usually hold or carry your phone during calls.
If the tone repeats continuously, a brief distraction can make you miss the second caller entirely before the tone ends. If it plays only once, a noisy environment can drown it out. The combined tone-and-vibration option is usually the most reliable for calls taken in your pocket or on a desk.
To change the behavior, open Tap on Phone ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Calling accounts ➔ Tap on Advanced settings ➔ Tap on Call waiting notification ➔ Choose an option.
If call waiting does not trigger any notification at all, check that the call waiting function itself is enabled in the same Advanced settings menu, since the notification style only applies once waiting is active.
