Change Downloads Location in Mi Browser auf Xiaomi
Mi Browser saves every download to a fixed default folder unless you set a different path yourself. This setting lives inside the browser app, not in the system storage settings, which is why many users never find it.
To change it, open Mi Browser ➔ Profile ➔ Settings ➔ Advanced ➔ Downloads location. From there, tap Internal shared storage and pick the folder or path you want to use going forward, then confirm with OK.
The folder does not need to exist beforehand for every case, but if you want a dedicated location, create it first through your file manager app. Once selected, all future downloads from Mi Browser go straight to that folder until you change the setting again.
This only affects downloads triggered inside Mi Browser. Files saved from other apps, like a messaging app or a separate download manager, follow their own storage rules and are not moved by this change.
If storage space is tight, moving downloads to an SD card or a specific internal folder also makes cleanup easier later, since you know exactly where to look.
