Change Notification Sound auf Xiaomi
By default, MIUI assigns one system-wide notification tone to most apps, which makes it hard to tell a chat message from a delivery alert. The sound lives under the general audio settings rather than inside each app, so many users never find where to swap it.
To change it, go to Settings ➔ Sound & vibration ➔ Notifications ➔ All ringtones and pick a new tone from the list. MIUI ships several categories here, including nature sounds, a chime, xylophone tones, and the classic pre-installed ringtones.
If your phone runs two SIM cards, the same menu offers a separate entry for each line, so you can assign one tone to your work number and a different one to your private line. This helps you recognize which SIM received the notification without unlocking the phone.
Note that this setting only changes the system default. Apps like messengers or email clients often have their own sound option inside their notification channel settings, and that per-app choice overrides the system default whenever it is set.
