Clear App Cache auf Xiaomi
Every app on MIUI stores temporary files in the background to load faster and save data. Over time these cache files can grow large, get outdated, or conflict with a newer app version after an update.
When that happens, you might notice an app freezing, showing blank screens, throwing error messages, or simply feeling slower than usual. Clearing the cache removes only these temporary files. Your logins, saved settings, photos, and documents inside the app stay untouched.
Where to clear app cache on MIUI
Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Apps ➔ Tap on Manage apps ➔ Choose an app ➔ Tap on Clear data ➔ Tap on Clear cache.
Repeat this for any app that misbehaves. There is no single button to clear all app caches at once on MIUI, so you need to go through each problematic app individually.
When this does not help
If the app still crashes after clearing the cache, the problem likely sits deeper than temporary files. In that case, try Clear data instead, which resets the app to its default state, or reinstall the app entirely. Clearing cache is worth trying first because it carries no risk of losing app data.
