Xiaomi: Close All Open Browser Tabs at Once

Mi Browser keeps every tab you open running in the background until you close it manually. On a Xiaomi phone this adds up fast, especially if you switch between links from messaging apps or search results without ever closing what you already had open.

The result is a browser that feels sluggish and a battery that drains faster than expected, since each background tab still loads content and scripts. MIUI does not close tabs automatically, so the tab count only grows the longer you use the browser without a cleanup.

Mi Browser includes a built-in shortcut that closes every open tab in one go, instead of forcing you to swipe each one away individually. To use it, open Tap on Mi Browser ➔ Tap on Tabs ➔ Tap on Close ➔ Tap on OK.

Confirming with Tap on OK closes every tab at once, giving the browser a clean start. This is the fastest option when your tab overview is cluttered and you do not need any of the open pages anymore.

If you only want to get rid of one specific page and keep the rest open, close that single tab from the tab overview instead of using the close-all shortcut. That way you avoid losing tabs you still need.
