Turn Focus Mode On or Off auf Xiaomi
Focus mode on Xiaomi phones running MIUI pauses notifications and app access for a list you define, without switching the phone into full Do Not Disturb. Calls still come through, but distracting apps stay silent until you switch the mode off or a schedule ends.
The feature sits inside the parental controls area of the system settings, which is why some users skip past it. Open Settings ➔ Digital Wellbeing & parental controls ➔ Focus mode. From there, tap Select the distracting apps to build your list, then choose Turn on now for an immediate session or Set a schedule to repeat it automatically at fixed times, such as your work hours.
Turning the mode off works the same way. Return to the same menu and disable the active session or remove the schedule. Apps you did not select keep working normally, so calls, messaging apps, or navigation stay unaffected unless you add them to the list yourself.
Focus mode is the better choice when you want to keep specific apps reachable while blocking a handful of known distractions. If you need to silence everything except a few contacts, a Do Not Disturb profile with allowed exceptions is usually the more direct fix.
