Data Usage Warning: Enable or Disable auf Xiaomi
The mobile data warning on Xiaomi phones is managed by the built-in Security app, not by the carrier or the regular Settings app. This monitor tracks your data consumption locally and triggers a notification when you approach a limit you define.
To reach the toggle, open Security app ➔ Settings ➔ Data usage ➔ Enable or disable Data usage. Switching it on activates tracking and warning notifications based on the limit you set. Switching it off removes those alerts completely, but your phone still uses mobile data in the background exactly as before.
Disabling the warning is useful if you have an unlimited plan and find the notifications distracting. Keeping it enabled makes sense on limited or shared plans where an unexpected overage costs money.
This setting only controls the warning and the local usage counter in the Security app. It does not restrict any app individually and does not replace your carrier's own usage tracking, which may show slightly different numbers depending on billing cycles.
When to look elsewhere
If you need to block a specific app from using mobile data at all, that requires a separate per-app data permission, not this warning toggle.
