Xiaomi: Delete an Alarm from the Clock App

If your Xiaomi phone keeps ringing at a time you no longer need, an old alarm is probably still sitting in the Clock app. Alarms pile up quickly once you set them for one-off events like flights or workouts, and they rarely get removed afterward. A cluttered alarm list also makes it harder to spot the one alarm you actually rely on every morning.

Delete an Alarm auf Xiaomi

Xiaomi phones running MIUI keep every alarm you have ever created in one list inside the Clock app, even after the event it was set for is long over. Nothing deletes these entries automatically, so one-off alarms for early flights, workouts or medication reminders stay active until you remove them yourself.

The fastest way to clean this up is directly inside the alarm list. Open Clock, then tap and hold the alarm entry you no longer need. This activates selection mode, where you can also tap additional alarms if you want to remove several at once. Confirm by tapping Delete.

This removes the alarm permanently, including its repeat schedule and label. If you only want to pause an alarm without losing its settings, turning off its toggle switch is the better option instead of deleting it outright.

Deleting an alarm has no effect on other Clock functions such as the timer or world clock. If an alarm still triggers after deletion, check whether a duplicate entry with a similar time was created separately.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. After tapping and holding one alarm in Clock, tap the other alarms you want to remove before confirming with Delete. All selected entries are removed together.
