Desktop View in Mi Browser auf Xiaomi
Mi Browser renders web pages in a mobile-optimized layout by default. This view strips out sidebars, hides certain menus, and shrinks text to fit the phone screen. That speeds up loading, but it can also block form fields, admin panels, or file managers that only appear in the full desktop layout.
The toggle for this sits inside the browser itself, not in the general Android or MIUI system settings. Open Mi Browser ➔ Profile and find the option to enable or disable Desktop mode there.
Turning it on makes every page you load afterward request the desktop version of the site, so it responds as if you opened it on a laptop. Expect smaller text, wider layouts, and some horizontal scrolling until you zoom in or rotate the phone.
Switch the option back off once you finish the task that needed the full site. The mobile layout usually loads faster and uses less data.
If a page still shows the mobile version after enabling Desktop mode, clear the cache for that site or reload it manually. Some sites keep a locally stored mobile copy that does not update right away.
