Turn Off Automatic Diagnostic Data Sending auf Xiaomi
MIUI ships with a background service called Send diagnostic data automatically. It quietly forwards usage statistics from your Xiaomi phone to help improve the system, but the exact content of these reports is never disclosed.
Because the collected data can include app usage patterns, crash logs and other technical details, some of it may qualify as personal information depending on how you use the device. Xiaomi does not provide a breakdown of what gets included in each transmission.
To disable it, open Settings ➔ Passwords & security ➔ Privacy and turn off Send diagnostic data automatically. The same toggle lets you turn it back on if a support case later requires diagnostic logs.
This setting exists on both current and older MIUI releases, though the exact wording inside Privacy can shift slightly between builds. If you are troubleshooting a specific issue with Xiaomi support, keep in mind that disabling this option can make it harder for them to access background logs remotely.
For broader privacy control, check the other toggles near this one in Privacy, since several relate to similar user experience optimization services that work the same way.
