Turn Off App Lock auf Xiaomi
App lock on Xiaomi phones adds a PIN, pattern or fingerprint check in front of individual apps and can hide selected apps from the launcher entirely. This is useful for shared devices, but it becomes a problem once every protected app asks for a code again and again, or once you forget which apps are hidden.
Disabling App lock removes the extra authentication step from all previously locked apps in one go. Any app you had hidden through this feature also reappears in your app drawer immediately afterward, since the hiding function is tied to the lock, not a separate setting.
To turn it off, open Settings ➔ Apps ➔ App lock ➔ Settings ➔ Disable App lock ➔ OK. Confirming the prompt removes the lock system-wide, not just for one app.
Keep App lock active if you regularly hand your phone to family members or coworkers, or if you rely on the hidden-apps feature for privacy. If you only want fewer prompts rather than none, check whether individual apps can be removed from the protected list instead of disabling the whole feature.
