Document Scanner Shortcut: Enable or Disable auf Xiaomi

The Document scanner is part of MIUI's AI camera suggestions. When the camera recognizes a flat sheet of paper, a whiteboard, or a projected slide in the frame, it overlays a small scan shortcut so you can capture and crop the content in one tap.

This detection runs automatically in the background whenever the camera app is open. If it keeps triggering on things that are not documents, or if you never use the scan feature, turning it off removes the shortcut and the related processing.

To change the setting, open Tap on Camera ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Smart suggestions ➔ Enable or disable Document scanner.

Switching it off does not remove the manual document scan mode from the camera modes list, if your device offers one. It only stops the automatic pop-up suggestion during normal photo shooting.

If the shortcut still shows up after disabling it, force-close the camera app once so the setting reloads, then reopen it.
