Turn On/Off Gesture Confirmation auf Xiaomi
Gesture confirmation only matters if full-screen gesture navigation is active on your Xiaomi phone. With this navigation style, a single swipe from the edge can go back, close an app, or switch tasks. During full-screen games or video playback, that sensitivity often causes accidental exits.
Gesture confirmation adds a safety layer. Once enabled, the system waits for a second swipe before completing the gesture, which reduces accidental triggers without disabling full-screen gestures entirely.
You find the setting under Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Home screen ➔ Tap on System navigation ➔ Enable or disable Gesture confirmation.
If you play a lot of full-screen games or watch video in landscape mode, turning this on is usually worth the extra swipe. If you rely on quick back-and-forth navigation for everyday use, leaving it off keeps gestures faster but slightly less forgiving.
This setting only applies when full-screen gesture navigation is the active navigation mode. If your phone uses button navigation or the classic gesture bar, this option has no effect.
