Turn Emoji Suggestions On or Off auf Xiaomi
When you type a word that matches a known emoji, the Xiaomi keyboard can display that emoji as a quick replacement option above the suggestion bar. This behavior comes from the Text correction settings inside the keyboard app, not from a general language setting.
The feature works independently from spelling and grammar suggestions, so you can turn it off without touching autocorrect or predictive text. Some keyboard versions on newer MIUI builds place the toggle in a slightly different submenu, but the overall path stays the same.
To adjust it, follow this path: Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Additional settings ➔ Tap on Languages & input ➔ Tap on Manage keyboards ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Text correction ➔ Enable or disable Show emoji suggestions.
Switching the toggle off removes the emoji row from the suggestion bar completely, while switching it on brings back emoji matches for recognized words. If you use a third-party keyboard instead of the default Xiaomi keyboard, this setting has no effect, since every keyboard app manages its own emoji suggestion logic separately.
