Export Contacts as a VCF File auf Xiaomi
The Contacts app on Xiaomi phones keeps its export function deliberately simple. Instead of syncing directly to another device, it creates a single .vcf file that bundles all contact entries in one exportable package.
To start the export, open Tap on Contacts ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Export. From there, pick an account with Choose an Accountand tap on Export to .vcf file and confirm with Tap on Save.
The account you choose determines where the file is stored. Selecting internal storage keeps the .vcf file in the phone's own memory, ready to be shared through a file manager, messaging app, or cable transfer. Selecting the SIM card writes the contacts onto the card itself, which only works if the SIM has enough free storage and the phone still supports SIM-based contact storage.
This export path does not sync contacts live to a cloud account. If contacts should stay updated automatically across devices, a Google account sync is the better option instead of a manual VCF export.
One side effect to watch for: importing the same .vcf file twice usually creates duplicate entries, since the Contacts app does not automatically merge matching names or numbers.
