Xiaomi: Filter Call History by Type

When your Xiaomi call log fills up with dozens of entries, finding a specific missed or outgoing call turns into scrolling work. The Phone app on MIUI stores every call in one long list without separating calls by type or SIM card by default. A built-in filter option sorts the log so you only see the calls that matter.

Filter Call History auf Xiaomi

The Xiaomi Phone app logs every incoming, outgoing, and missed call in a single chronological list. On a phone used daily, that list grows fast and becomes hard to scan, especially with two SIM cards active. MIUI includes a filter function inside the call history that separates entries by type instead of showing everything at once.

To reach it, open Tap on PhoneOpen the MenuTap on Call historyChoose Allor Missed. From there you can switch between viewing all calls, only missed calls, outgoing calls, answered calls, calls from unknown numbers, or calls tied to a specific SIM card slot.

This filter only changes what is displayed. It does not delete any call record, so switching back to All calls restores the full log instantly. Use it whenever you need to check missed calls after being offline, review outgoing calls for billing, or confirm which SIM handled a particular contact.

If you are trying to block certain numbers instead of just sorting them, the call filter will not help. That task belongs to the blocklist settings in the Phone app, not the history filter described here.

Frequently asked questions

No. The filter only changes which calls are displayed. Switching the filter back to All shows the complete log again.
