Enable Early Updates in MIUI Settings auf Xiaomi
Xiaomi phones normally roll out a new MIUI build in stages, so some devices receive it days or even weeks after others. The Receive updates early toggle changes which distribution group your phone belongs to, pushing it toward the front of that queue.
This setting does not switch you to a beta or developer channel. It only affects the timing of stable releases, moving your device closer to the first wave instead of a later one. Because early-wave builds have had less time in the field, they can carry bugs or app-compatibility issues that get ironed out before reaching the later groups.
If your priority is stability rather than speed, leave this switch off and let the update reach you on the regular schedule. If you mainly want security patches and minor fixes sooner and can tolerate an occasional rough edge, enabling it makes sense.
To find the toggle, go to Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on About phone ➔ Tap on MIUI version ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Update settings ➔ Enable or disable Receive updates early.
You can switch it back off at any time from the same menu if a build causes problems on your device.
