Turn On/Off Incognito Mode in Mi Browser auf Xiaomi
Incognito mode in Mi Browser stops new tabs from being added to your browsing history and clears cookies and site data once you close the private tab. It does not hide your activity from your mobile carrier or from websites that use other tracking methods, so treat it as local privacy on the device, not full anonymity.
You recognize an active Incognito tab by a small mask icon on the tab counter and a dark purple background instead of the usual light theme. This visual change is the only indicator MIUI gives you, so it is easy to miss if you are not looking for it.
Menu path to enable or disable Incognito mode
Tap on Mi Browser ➔ Tap on Profile ➔ Enable or disable Incognito mode
Repeat the same steps to switch it off again. Closing all incognito tabs also ends the session automatically and clears the related browsing data from that session.
Use Incognito mode when you are logging into an account on a shared device or checking something you do not want to appear in autocomplete suggestions later. For everyday browsing where you want saved passwords, autofill, or synced bookmarks, keep it switched off, since those features do not work inside a private tab.
