Turn On/Off Increasing Ringtone Volume auf Xiaomi
Increasing ringtone volume controls how a call sounds the moment it comes in on a Xiaomi phone. With it enabled, the ringtone starts quiet and gradually climbs to the volume level you have set, instead of playing at full strength immediately.
This setting lives inside the calling accounts section of the phone app, separate from the general ringtone volume slider in the system settings. Turning it off makes every incoming call ring at full set volume from the first tone, which helps in noisy environments where a slow ramp-up means missed calls.
To change it, follow this path:
Tap on Phone ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Calling accounts ➔ Tap on Incoming call settings ➔ Enable or disable Increasing ringtone volume
Enabling this option is useful in quiet spaces like offices or bedrooms, since a gentle ramp-up feels less startling than a full-volume ring. Disabling it makes sense if you often miss calls because the ringtone takes too long to reach an audible level, for example in a car or outdoors.
Keep in mind this setting only affects the ringtone behavior for incoming calls. It does not change notification sounds, alarm volume, or media playback, so if those still feel off, check their volume controls separately.
