Xiaomi: Email Guests From a Calendar Event

If an appointment reminder alone is not enough, guests often miss details or forget the event entirely. MIUI Calendar lets you send everyone attached to an event a custom email, but the app pre-selects all added guests automatically. Checking that list before sending prevents the message from going to the wrong people.

Email Guests From a Calendar Event auf Xiaomi

MIUI Calendar can send a group email to everyone attached to an event. This is useful when a push notification is not enough, for example when you need to share a location change or a short reminder in your own words.

When you create an appointment and add guests, MIUI automatically marks all of them as recipients for this feature. That means an email sent from the event goes out to every guest by default, unless you remove someone from the list first.

To send the message, go to Open CalendarSelect an eventTap on Email guestsType a messageTap on Send. The text field is empty by default, so guests only receive your own message plus the event details attached automatically.

This works only for events that already have guests added through the Calendar app. If an appointment has no guests, the Email guests option has nothing to send to and will not appear as useful. For quick one-off reminders to a single person, a normal text message or chat app is often faster than editing the guest list first.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Open the event, check the guest list before tapping Email guests, and deselect anyone who should not receive the message.
