Turn JavaScript On or Off in Mi Browser auf Xiaomi
JavaScript adds interactive behavior to HTML and CSS, and most websites use it for menus, forms, and dynamic content.
When JavaScript is switched off in Mi Browser, pages that depend on it can look empty, buttons stop reacting, and dropdown menus fail to expand.
Xiaomi lets you toggle this setting directly inside the browser app, without touching the system-wide Android settings.
Open Mi Browser, tap on Profile, then go to Settings ➔ Advanced. There you find the Enable JavaScript switch, which you can turn on or off. Confirm the change by tapping OK.
Turning JavaScript off can speed up loading on very simple pages and reduce data usage, but it breaks most modern web apps, online banking portals, and shopping sites.
If pages suddenly stop working correctly across many sites, check this setting first before assuming a network or app problem.
