Xiaomi: Turn Missed Call Reminders On or Off

Missed call reminders are part of the calling accounts settings in MIUI. When enabled, your phone repeats the missed call notification instead of showing it just once, which helps if you tend to miss alerts on a busy screen or silent phone.

You can choose how often the reminder repeats, from a single nudge up to ten repeats. Each repeat uses the same notification sound and vibration pattern as your regular call alerts, so it does not introduce a new sound to learn.

Where to find the setting

Go to Phone ➔ Open the Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Calling accounts ➔ Advanced settings ➔ Missed call reminders ➔ Choose an option.

Pick a value like 1 time for a single reminder or a higher number if you often miss the first alert entirely. Turning the option off removes the repeat behavior, leaving only the initial missed call notification.

If you rely on a separate call log app or a smartwatch for call alerts, this setting has no effect on those, since it only controls the native reminder behavior on the phone itself.
