Turn MIUI Optimization On or Off auf Xiaomi
The Turn on MIUI optimization switch sits inside developer options and controls how MIUI's custom interface layer interacts with the underlying Android rendering engine.
When enabled, MIUI applies its own scaling and animation logic on top of Android, which usually keeps visual behavior consistent across Xiaomi apps and system menus.
Disabling it forces some apps to render using stock Android behavior instead. This can fix display glitches in third-party apps built for pure Android that don't expect MIUI's overlay adjustments, but it can also make certain Xiaomi system apps look or behave slightly different.
Developers and testers often turn this off to check how an app performs without MIUI-specific interface handling. Regular users usually only touch this setting after a specific app reports rendering errors, force-closes, or shows UI elements incorrectly on a Xiaomi device.
To change the setting, open Settings ➔ Additional settings ➔ Developer options ➔ enable or disable Turn on MIUI optimization ➔ confirm with Accept.
If developer options are not visible yet, unlock them first before this switch shows up in the list.
