Enable Reading Mode in Mi Browser auf Xiaomi
Mi Browser renders every page with the same bright white background by default, no matter the time of day or how long you have been scrolling. Xiaomi built reading mode into MIUI to counter this: it shifts the display toward warmer tones and softens harsh contrast, which lowers the amount of blue light hitting your eyes during longer browsing sessions.
The setting lives inside the browser itself, not in the general system display options, so it only affects pages opened in Mi Browser. To turn it on, go to Open the Mi Browser app ➔ Tap on Profile ➔ Open the Settings ➔ Tap on Reading mode ➔ Enable or disable Reading mode.
Once enabled, swipe left or right to adjust the intensity, moving from a barely noticeable warmth to a strong sepia-like tint. A lower intensity keeps colors close to natural, while a higher one suits reading at night or in dim rooms.
If reading mode makes photos or embedded videos look washed out or off-color, lower the intensity or turn it off just while viewing media-heavy pages. Reading mode works independently of MIUI's system-wide dark mode, so running both at once can sometimes overcorrect brightness and warmth together.
