Reset Mi Browser Settings auf Xiaomi
Mi Browser stores search engine preferences, autofill entries, saved passwords, and browsing history as separate settings. Over time these accumulate and can cause odd behavior: a wrong default search engine, stuck autofill suggestions, or a homepage that won't change back.
Clearing cache or cookies only removes part of this data. A full reset removes browser-specific settings and locally saved browsing data at once, which is the more reliable fix when the browser behaves inconsistently across multiple areas rather than just one.
Menu path to reset Mi Browser
Open the browser and follow this path:
Tap on Mi Browser ➔ Tap on Profile ➔ Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Restore defaults ➔ Tap on OK
Confirming with Tap on OK immediately applies the reset. There is no additional confirmation step afterward, so make sure you actually want to clear saved logins and browsing history before tapping it.
If you only want to remove cached files without touching passwords or history, use the separate cache-clearing option for Mi Browser instead of this full reset.
