Adjust Screen Brightness auf Xiaomi
Screen brightness on a Xiaomi phone can be changed two ways: through the quick settings shade at the top of the screen, or directly in the system preferences. Both control the same value, so a change in one place is reflected in the other.
The display is one of the biggest battery consumers on any smartphone. Running it at 100 percent brightness for extended periods puts noticeably more strain on the battery than a mid-range setting, especially with the screen on for long sessions.
To set brightness manually through the settings menu, follow this path:
Settings ➔ Display ➔ Brightness level ➔ swipe right or left on the slider to adjust the level.
Swiping right increases brightness, swiping left lowers it. The change applies immediately, so you can watch the screen adjust in real time as you move the slider.
If the brightness keeps jumping on its own after you set it manually, auto-brightness is likely active and overriding your choice based on the ambient light sensor. Turning that option off in the same Display menu stops the automatic adjustments and keeps your manual level fixed.
For quick day-to-day changes without digging into settings, the quick settings shade offers the same slider with one swipe down from the top of the screen. Use the full settings menu instead when you want to also toggle auto-brightness or check related display options.
