Send MMS Message auf Xiaomi
On Xiaomi phones, the Messages app does not ask you to choose between SMS and MMS. The moment you attach a photo, video, or .gif file, the app converts the message into a multimedia message (MMS) on its own, using the same chat window you already have open.
To send one, open Tap on Messages ➔ Tap on Start chat ➔ Enter a Phone number or choose a Contact ➔ Type a Message ➔ Tap on Attachments ➔ Tap on Gallery or select a Photo/Video ➔ Tap on Send. The gallery picker also lets you attach videos or GIFs the same way, not just photos.
Why this matters
MMS messages rely on your carrier's data connection, not Wi-Fi, so mobile data needs to be turned on even if you are connected to a Wi-Fi network. If mobile data is off or your carrier plan blocks multimedia messaging, the message can get stuck in a pending state or fail without a clear error.
If your goal is only to share a file without using your SMS plan, sending it through a messaging app that uses Wi-Fi or mobile data directly is usually faster and does not depend on carrier MMS settings at all.
