Set Monthly Data Usage Limit auf Xiaomi
MIUI does not sync the Monthly data limit with your mobile provider. If your tariff changes, the old threshold stays active until you update it yourself, which can cause premature warnings or an unexpected mobile data cut-off before the month is actually over.
Where the setting lives
Open Security ➔ Settings ➔ Data usage ➔ Data plan ➔ Monthly data limit. This screen controls the threshold MIUI uses to track your mobile data against your billing cycle, independent of the actual contract stored with your carrier.
Setting the new value
Enter the amount that matches your current plan and confirm with OK. MIUI applies the new limit immediately to the ongoing cycle, so usage already counted this month is measured against the updated number right away.
When this is not the right fix
If mobile data still gets blocked after adjusting the limit, check whether a separate data saver or per-app restriction is active. The Monthly data limit only governs the overall threshold and warning behavior, not individual app permissions.
