Xiaomi: Show or Hide Calendar Accounts

If every linked account shows up in the Calendar app at once, work meetings and private appointments end up mixed together in one view. This happens because the Calendar app displays all synced accounts by default, with no separation between personal and work calendars. You can turn individual accounts on or off without removing them from the device.

Manage Displayed Calendar Accounts auf Xiaomi

The Calendar app on Xiaomi phones syncs every linked account by default and shows all of them in the same view. That is convenient at first, but it quickly becomes confusing once a work account and a personal Google account both feed events into the same calendar.

The setting that controls this is the account visibility toggle inside the Calendar app itself, not the general account sync settings. Hiding an account only removes its events from the calendar view, it does not delete the account or stop it from syncing in the background.

To adjust which accounts appear, go to CalendarMenu ➔ and turn the corresponding account on or off. Repeat this for each account you want to hide or show.

If an entire account is missing from this list instead of just being hidden, the issue is likely with account sync rather than display settings. In that case, check the accounts section in the system settings first to confirm the account is still signed in and syncing.

Note that the exact menu wording can vary slightly by device, and on some phones Google Calendar runs as a separate app rather than through the built-in Calendar app.

Frequently asked questions

No. Hiding an account through CalendarMenu only removes it from view. The events stay stored in the account and reappear once you turn the account back on.
