Quick Ball Shortcuts and Behavior Settings auf Xiaomi
The Quick ball is a floating button that gives fast access to chosen apps and system actions without returning to the home screen. Beyond picking which shortcuts appear, MIUI offers separate controls for how the button reacts and where it sits on screen.
These controls matter when the ball blocks video playback, triggers on the wrong touch, or stays visible in apps where you never use it. Adjusting them does not change the shortcut list itself, only the behavior around it.
Where to find the settings
Open Tap on Settings ➔ Tap on Additional settings ➔ Tap on Quick ball ➔ Turn On/Off the desired option. From this screen you can switch the preferred gesture between tap and swipe, hide the ball automatically in specific apps, and stop it from showing in full screen mode.
There is also an option to make the ball stick to the edge of the screen instead of floating freely, which reduces accidental touches during scrolling or gaming.
Turning off Quick ball entirely from this same menu removes both the button and its shortcuts, so only disable individual toggles if you still want quick access to some apps.
