App Lock Timing auf Xiaomi
App lock on Xiaomi phones protects selected apps with an extra PIN, pattern or fingerprint check. The timing setting decides exactly when that extra check appears again after you have already unlocked an app once.
If you keep re-entering the PIN every few seconds while switching between apps, the timing is set to trigger too aggressively. If a protected app stays open without any check even after several minutes away from the phone, the timing might be too loose for your needs.
Where to change the App lock timing
Open Settings ➔ Apps ➔ App lock ➔ Settings ➔ Lock settings ➔ Choose an option.
Three options are available:
When device is locked- protected apps stay accessible as long as the screen stays on, and only ask for verification once the phone itself locks.When device is locked or after exiting app- leaving or minimizing a protected app triggers the check immediately, even if the screen never turned off.When device is locked or in 1 minute after exiting app- gives a one-minute grace period after leaving the app before the lock reactivates.
Choose the first option if you want the fewest prompts. Choose the second option if you share the phone with others or want the strictest protection. The third option is a middle ground for apps you check repeatedly within short intervals.
